The Guest House is 5 minutes to 3 of Melbournes best Golf Courses, a 5 minute stroll to the beautiful Fairfield Park Boathouse and tea rooms on the Yarra River and 2 minutes to the Fairfield shopping strip full of wonderful cafes reataurants and gourmet shops. We are next door to one of Melbournes oldest Pubs where you can enjoy a cold beer and a great steak and a bit of Australian humour.
Fairfield Guest House is a fully renovated Federation house offering two airconditioned double rooms with ensuite facilities. Each room has a queen size bed, TV, video, bar fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave oven. clock radio, ceiling fan and oil heater.
The B&B tariff includes a continental breakfast of croissants, toast, muffins, cereal, juice, fruit, tea and coffee. Cooked breakfast and other meals are available.
The ensuites and suite are situated on the verandah from where the Melbourne sunshine can be enjoyed together with a good and the scent of roses during the summer months.
Dinner is available from our friends next door at the Grandview Hotel from 6pm to 9pm – charged to your Fairfield Guest House account. Dinner and drinks can be delivered to your room between 6pm and 8pm. Close by are the restaurant precincts of Brunswick Street Fitzroy and Lygon Street Carlton.
